We had always had Dell's in the past, and weren't really very happy with them. So decided to try Toshiba, and are VERY glad we did. It is responsive, light weight & serves our purposes very well.

This laptop is surprisingly lightweight, but seems very well put together. After opening it and setting everything up, I had to pop in a game to test out the graphics, and I was extremely impressed. I had Devil May Cry 4 on maxed out graphics and it still maintained a smooth 40fps. The voice recognition is sometimes a little off, but with work and practice it is quite useful. 
Overall, this is a great computer for a casual gamer and student, such as myself. My only complaint is that is does not have Microsoft Office 2010 installed (it has Microsoft word, but I need Excel and PP occasionally for class). Otherwise, this is a great piece of equipment that I hope will last a long time.

Only thing that would stop me from giving it a perfect score is that on occasion I suffer little hiccups that pass after a few seconds, but leaves the computer unresponsive to input for those brief moments. 
I use my desktop for gaming, but this can handle less graphically intensive games like WoW and LoL just fine. I woulnd't run anything like Crysis or most FPS for that matter, but it might be able to handle some of them. 
I mainly use the laptop for when I go downstairs to watch TV or when I am in the bedroom, and also to take to work and meetings on occasion. The battery is pretty good (especially compared to my old Compaq that this replaced) and only needs to be charged once a day for what I use it for. 
Overall seems like a great value compared to similar products. Would have expected this to cost around $100-$150 more.
